Let's face it, Parenting is a really tough game

and it did not come attachment baseball diamondwith a playbook, until now.

Play Ball - The Parents Playbook is an attachment focused, positive, principle based parenting guide that will instruct and enlighten even the most seasoned parent in the ways of effective interaction and nurture of the perfect child.

In this Before It Is Released event, participants will have the opportunity to learn first hand from Brett as he takes you around the bases in a play by play process of bringing your child to the safe haven of your dugout. Mark your calendars for November 20th and 21st and plan to attend either in person or the live webcast.

Beginning in the late 1980's and coming on heavy in the 90's, attachment has become a buzz word for parenting that strikes both fear and hope.  Reactive Attachment Disorder was all the rage a few years ago and numerous parents were seeking information about their child and if they had it.  Now Attachment Parenting is grabbing hold in the alternative and some mainstream circles.  There is no doubt that attachment and parenting have become rooted in our psyche, and for goof reason too.

Why is Play Ball different? It teaches what is missing in many of the discussions and methods regarding attachment and parenting - that being the child's resilience and progression away from the parent.  Without such ideas as rigid flexibility and child directed discipline the transfer of discipline from the parent to child will never be realized.  Without letting the child learn to be alone and enjoy self directed play and time the child will never understand healthy relationships and separation.  Positive Principled Attachment Focused Parenting is the greatest form of love and discipline we can offer our children.

During the two sessions, participants will see parenting as a very simple and logical game.  Each two hour session will take the parent and the child from the safety and security of the home dugout, and advance the child around the bases until they are safely home again.  The journey will be explored from the child's and the parent's perspective.  As the "coach" it is important to know what is in the mind our your player.  When you learn the struggles and the pitfalls that universally hinder every child, you are able to more effectively ensure their safe return to your secure dugout.

What Play Ball is:

Simple and effective tools and training to understand the child's fears and mindset as they navigate the bases of life. It gives real applications that can be applied at any state of the game to see that the child is nurtured and has the inner resilience to make it home. With charts, images, handouts, and worksheets to guide the parent, Play Ball truly is a playbook for any parent.

What Play Ball is not:

Play ball is not your basic parenting 101. It is not attachment parenting in terms of co-sleeping, and never leaving the child so that they can not gain the inner resolve needed to stand on their own.

Bringing in such topics as grief, the brain, and even failure as a measure of success, Play Ball gives the parent everything they need to raise healthy and vibrant children with resilience and inner strength to withstand the challenges of life head on.

In this training you will:

  1. Gain a deeper understanding WHY your child behaves and reacts like they do.
  2. What you as the coach, mentor, and disciplinarian can do to increase success in the child's life.
  3. Learn why tantrums are not just about rejection and manipulation, but are rooted in grief and loss.
  4. Discover how powerful the very simple act of validation and reflection can be to motivate and encourage. and why these tools should be your "go-to" defense strategies in nearly every situation.
  5. The power of failure as the set up for future and greater success, if you use it correctly.

And many more ideas that will enhance your child's inner strength and ability to succeed while decreasing your frustration wondering "what should I do and why is this happening".
